Why MTMImpact Symposium 2023?

Over the past three years, HR and L&D Leaders have witnessed a dramatic shift in how employees work, and recognize that the world of work as we knew it will not return.  Now more than ever, the demands of hybrid and remote work require HR and L&D to be more intentional about the employee experience across talent processes, answering critical questions such as:

  • Is hybrid and remote work and learning effective for each employee?
  • How are competencies changing with a shift in how employees work?
  • Where are the priority skill and competency gaps that we need to take actions to close?

HR and L&D can answer these questions through robust learning and talent management practices that continually take the pulse of the workforce and glean insights from it for actions.

MTMImpact Community organizations are doing just that by leveraging Explorance’s best practice methodology and automating measurement with MTM and Blue (a holistic people insights platform), to ensure that their organizations not only capture feedback but also turn it into the best possible people-insight-driven decisions and actions.

At the annual symposium in 2023, MTMImpact Community organizations will connect together to share experiences to amplify business impact with the theme of Insight to Action: Accelerating the Path to Personal Growth and Organizational Agility.

Join the Symposium to connect with your like-minded HR and L&D colleagues and problem solve, while influencing Explorance’s product direction and advancing your professional development.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Resilience + Effort = Impact

Opening Keynote by Chad E. Foster: Blind Ambition

As a successful corporate executive, international motivational speaker, and the author of Blind Ambition™, Chad uses his gift of going blind to teach and inspire us to thrive with change, create a more resilient leadership culture, and invite diversity to drive business innovation. “Who is Chad Foster”

Can you imagine going blind in your early 20’s? When most people were preparing for the adventure of adult life, Chad E. Foster was watching the world he grew up with fade to black. But that didn’t stop him from becoming the first blind person to graduate from the Harvard Business School leadership program and climbing the corporate ladder as a successful Finance/Sales executive. He works at Red Hat, one of the most innovative Tech companies and the world’s largest open source software company. With determination, ambition, and drive, he created what Oracle said would be impossible. He gave hundreds of millions of people the ability to earn a living by becoming the first to create customer relationship software for the visually impaired. With speaking invites from London to Beijing, and the Atlanta Opera crafting a story inspired by his journey, Chad inspires people to overcome their own blind spots.

Day 2 Keynote by Shawn Overcast: Courageous Conversations

As Chief Insights Officer at Explorance, Shawn partners with stakeholders at all levels and involves them in the co-design of strategic solutions to achieve critical business objectives. Shawn brings 20 years of experience working with well-known brands like JetBlue Airways, Virgin America, Bloomin’ Brands, Arrow Electronics, Mount Sinai Health System, and Twitter.
